Fairy (9)
The lily pads were shot inside the glass house at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh. I first photographed the model in my studio wearing the fairy wings, against a plain background. Then I photographed the lily pads from exactly the same angle, with the light coming from the same direction. The two images were combined in photoshop. The shadow cast by the figure had to be painted in, and the wings are partially erased to give the see through effect. Finally I use a little difuse glow to give a dreamy effect. |
